Rules will change at times, and will not be necessarily spoken about or announced when these changes occur. Be sure to check back often, especially if you are concerned or confused if you or someone else has broken one of these rules. There are a lot of rules, yes, but they are here to keep the forum safe and user friendly. Please read and respect all of them. All in all, we are a very trusting community. Therefore we trust you to abide by our rules, or face the consequences that come with breaking them.
COPYRIGHT OF RARRENTYME STAYS WITH RARRENTYME
Unfortunately, some of Rarrentyme's work and literature has been copied. This is plagiarism, which means copying exact words or phrases without giving credit to the original owner. Rarrentyme's models, pictures, banners, etc. are also copyrighted. If you use these without written permission from the staff or give no credit you will be warned or banned from this website. If you are not a member of Rarrentyme we will still make sure that you give us credit and respect our work. In general, copying is not something looked upon as smart or creative or good at all. This rule applies to everyone, even staff.
This is, by far, one of the most important rules of Rarrentyme.
NO BULLYING, HARASSING, ETC.
If you are caught bullying, or harassing someone, you will be warned. If you continue to do it, you will be banned from the site.
NO IMMATURE CONTENT
If you are found roleplaying or discussing in an immature manner on forum (which includes sexual and threatening content) you will be warned. You will be BANNED INSTANTLY if you are caught doing this repeatedly or threatening or harassing someone with sexual or other immature content.
NO CURSING AT OTHERS
You are allowed to curse lightly about something. Ex: Oh damn I forgot to upload that picture!
However, you are not allowed to cuss lightly or a lot at someone. Ex: F**k you (username)!
If you are mad or irritated with someone, either consult the staff, OR if it's manageable alone, talk to them via PRIVATE MESSAGING ONLY so to not disrupt the forums and other members.
NO IMPERSONATING STAFF
If you are caught saying that you are a staff member or part of our team when you are not you will be warned. If you are caught threatening to BAN SOMEONE or just THREATENING IN GENERAL and saying you are a staff member, you will be banned after being told what you did and there will be NO WARNINGS for this.
NO SPAMMING
If you are caught spamming, which is posting over and over again in one location, you will be warned. You cannot be banned for this unless it gets overly extreme. Another version of this includes putting random words in one location, in big font, or just in random order. We like to keep the posts in a neat-ish order, Thank you.
REPORT OTHERS NEEDING TO BE REPORTED
Even if we try our best to catch rule breakers, it is true that the staff are only people, and we cannot always moderate everything at once. If someone is threatening you, or doing anything against the rules, either link them here and kindly ask them to stop what they are doing, or, if the situation becomes more serious, PLEASE report them AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Members can help us with this, and we encourage you to do so to keep the forum user-friendly and safe.
COPYRIGHT AND THEFT
Various images and artwork that are used in the forums are from the web. Members have contacted us about this, and we agree that if you use a picture from the web that is not yours(or a video in the media section), you must credit the image or video UNLESS told otherwise or credit for the image/video was not asked for (For example, a legal image or something of the sort, free for all to use). In terms of the forum and game itself, ALL artwork must be made by a member or staff. This only applies to any forum designs and mode/game designs. Rarrentyme's forum and game should be original and made by our members or staff ONLY. This is not the same as what I said above, for stuff like avatars, pictures, and videos in a thread. This goes for forum design, pictures, and game design and models.
RESPECT STAFF MEMBERS
This is obvious, but it's still a rule. However if you think a staff member has given you an unfair punishment, or something that they have said is against the rules itself, contact Wing by Private Messaging her. If Wing disagrees with your claim, do not get frustrated and make things worse. She will have a reason to support her claim, and if you continue to harass staff because of your disagreement there will be consequences. However, remember that questions to staff are always welcome, as long as you are respectful.
ROLEPLAY CHARACTERS
(Mainly a forum rule, since the actual game will have many people creating their own roleplays, and different rules can be present.) Do not Roleplay as other people's characters. It is their own character, and they have a right to what that character does. If the owner of the character asks you to role-play as their character, only the person they gave approval to can Roleplay as it. Please respect this, as you would not want anyone role playing as your own character which you made, designed, and care for. Do not kill anyone else's character unless the owner says it is okay! We would like the Roleplay to go on as long as possible to keep it entertaining and fun. Do not ruin it by killing off characters. If the owner says it is okay, then that is their choice, as they made their original character. Do not make your character overpowered, as in able to do things others cannot in an unfair way. This goes along with killing other characters, tons of magical abilities, immortality with no sorts of consequences, pain, etc. This will allow players to have fun and enjoy the roleplay.
ONE ACCOUNT PER PERSON
There is no need for two accounts for a single person. Therefore we ask for you to make one account and one account only.
If two accounts with the same email or IP address is detected by one of our staff members, that person will receive a PM concerning the matter. They will also be asked what account they wish to keep. The other one will be deleted/disabled. We understand that some people may have siblings. If this is true, send Wing or Ѳ∂αн a PM saying that you have a sibling interested in making an account. Please do this before they make an account! Include what username they are planning to have so we do not suspect anything else. If we find that someone has lied about having a sibling, and it is indeed one person with two accounts, there will be consequences.
