Q: What is Rarrentyme?
A: Rarrentyme (pronounced rawr-en-time) is a realistic fantasy free MORPG (Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) where you can play as a variety of different mythical creatures. These creatures include dragons, wyverns, griffins, hippogriffs, unicorns, pegasi, and last but not least phoenixes.
Q: What can I do in game?
A: Since the game has realism involved, your character will need to hunt and survive, but Role Playing will still be available. Unlike other games, characters when played will have a slow change to hunger and thirst, unlike many other games where you must eat every five minutes. This gives you time to role-play.
Q: Will players be able to hunt and fight, and also fight each other?
A: Simply yes. We do not know exactly when this will be available, but it will be at some point. When we get close to releasing that version more details will be added about exactly what prey you'll hunt, how to fight, etc.
Q: How customizable are these animals?
A: Each species has a basic look and color, but in those small limits players will be able to give their characters unique designs and appearance.
Q: When will this game be out?
A: Rarrentyme, like many other independent games, does not have an exact release date. It will be released in parts, more like updates, going by numbers for showing how recent these parts are. For example, if the game is Rarrentyme 1.00, it is a later game than the recent version Rarrentyme 3.00. Numbers after the decimal show that the updates are small, but they will just go two places after the decimal, so you don't get a game like Rarrentyme 4.8109.
Q: Are staff positions open?
A: Staff positions are open when Wing announces it. Otherwise they are not available. If you beg for staff position, you will be even more likely to not get it. Rarrentyme staff are people who moderate the game because they want to help out in the community, not for power to ban or warn members whenever they like. We do not take the risk of letting a random person become staff because they begged.
